Traditional Chandelier
Everyone knows that Spiders are an easy way to add style and elegance to any home. However, evil spider may have an adverse effect. That said, here are some tips on what you can do to avoid creating a freaky frenzy in the decoration of your home:
First, decide where you are planning to install your chandelier. This may be a little difficult taking in mind that spiders are designed to be a little larger than the standard pendant lighting and the lights of the island. A couple of places I would recommend are the entrance hall, lounge, and sometimes the dining room. Of course, this all depends on the size of the room, too big chandelier will dwarf the room, too small could end up with a lot of space negative and not enough light.
The next step is to decide what style you’re looking for. Are you buying a traditional chandelier complete with multiple levels, crystal balls and candelabra-style lamps? Or maybe you are looking for a unique style of woodcarving level?
Whatever the style, always consider the appearance of your current decor and work with it. For example, if you have a Spanish style split level house, a chandelier with blown glass diffuser colors and flowers may not work well. In fact, it may well clash! You want your chandelier to enhance the appearance of your home with your elegance and beauty, not create chaos by design.
The last step to consider is whether this chandelier will make a hole in your electricity bills? Not many people know, but the lighting costs some dough, especially if they leave the lights when not needed. If you’re one of those people who are absolutely necessary leave their lights in shame for any reason (for you, it’s a waste!), consider replacing your bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs or any comparable, energy efficient light bulbs. Most if not all chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps and even outdoor lighting can use compact fluorescent bulbs, which is good news because it means you can use these ingenious little lights in almost every light in your home saving you money.
Placement, style and energy efficiency are three very important key elements when it comes to buying lamps. If you take above into account, you will be satisfied with your chandelier.
