Crystal Glass Chandelier
How do you determine if your crystal ball is real or not?
I read somewhere that if you have a tear of a chandelier in the fingers, get colder, unlike glass that are heated. I wonder if it is correct and if it was in the same way to determine if a crystal ball is made of real crystal. If this is false, how do you know if your crystal ball is not glass or other material, and glass. For everyone who wrote the answers really rude, I collect crystal balls, do not look to the future with them. He wanted to know b / c I want a value of something if they want to sell. There is a lot of different forms of crystal glass, not all of them contain lead, but when it comes to crystal balls, all have lead. Glass is at least 24% lead is said to lead crystal. This type of glass refraction effects of light. Common glass is usually 1.5 lead crystal and 1.7, which means the speed of the waves, like sound or light is reduced by 1/1.5 or 1/1.7 in a vacuum. I know, blah, blah, blah. Sorry, no easy answer to this. Basically, shinier and typically easier to cut. So if you think it is pretty, I would be willing to bet that is glass.
