Garden parties on warm summer evenings are a pleasure to wait. Here are 10 easy ways to decorate your outdoor space with light without breaking the budget.
1) illuminate paths, walkways, stairs, pool decks, and dark corners with paper bag lanterns from tealights and food bags of brown paper. Place a few rocks inside each lantern as anchors.
2) Make a small investment in easy to install lighting solar path. No wiring of any kind and the lamp can be moved as needed (about $ 30 each).
3) Place candles and citronella torches around seating areas to deter insects. Make sure you are not too close to food, the smell can overpower flavors.
4) Lace China paper lanterns decorative, low-cost or colors, themes, or a bite of white lights shining through bars, patio umbrellas and pergolas.
5) Place candles, tea lights, candles or lamps cloth buffet tables and bars. Remember to keep candles in a secure container or candle holder.
6) Float candles in bird baths, pools or ponds. Floating solar lights are also available.
7) Create a dance floor in the gallows, mini-disco ball of a tree branch and pointing a spotlight on it.
Use retro lava lamps and dome fiber optic lighting or balloons theme is funky and fun.
